Recreation Fall Youth Tackle Football and Cheerleading

The Recreation Department is offering Fall Youth Tackle Football and Fall Youth Cheerleading.
Registration begins Wednesday, June 6th, 9:00am-7:00pm at the Rec. Dept. Registration is on-going, until program reaches capacity.
Fall Recreation Youth Tackle Football
Dates: Mid-August through mid-November
Ages: Junior Team- 3rd & 4th grade (in September 2012)
Senior Team- 5th & 6th grade (in September 2012)
*Fee: $310– Res. $340– School Dist. $370– Non. Res.
*Note: There is no increase in the fee for the 2012 season. In order to off-set this, there will be fund raising efforts during the season that every player is expected to participate in.
Registration: Begins Wednesday, June 6th at the Rec. Dept.- must have copy of birth certificate at time of registration
The teams will play in the Scarsdale Youth Football League. Pre-season practice's will begin in mid-August.
Teams will practice two-three per week once school resumes. The season will run until mid-November. Fee includes full uniform, equipment, and awards dinner. Eligibility based on age, weight, and grade.
Fall Recreation Youth Cheerleading
Dates: September through mid-November
Ages: 2nd-6th grade
*Fee: $125 Res. $155 School Dist. $210 Non. Res.
*Note: There is no increase in the fee for the 2012 season. In order to off-set this, there will be fund raising efforts during the season that every player is expected to participate in.
Registration: Begins Wednesday, June 6th at the Rec. Dept.
The team will practice two days a week and will cheer for one of the football teams at their games. Fee includes full cheerleading uniform, team sweatshirt, pom poms, and ticket for end of season dinner.

A birth certificate is required for all tackle football players.
