Genealogy Lecture by Toni McKeen: "Navigating Ship's Manifests"

Genealogy; immigration; ship's manifests; Toni McKeen; Irvington Public Library

Genealogist Toni McKeen returns to the Irvington Public Library to present her popular Powerpoint lecture, “Navigating Ship’s Manifests” on Saturday, December 12 at 2 p.m. The ship your ancestor booked passage on to emigrate to America kept a list of all passengers and employees on board. Not only names but ages, professions and who was going to meet them upon arrival. Toni McKeen will help you to locate the ship your ancestor traveled on, and will show you how to request a Ship’s Manifest.  Free.  Two-hour parking is available in front of the library and in the first row of parking behind the library building.
