GiGi's Playhouse Grand Opening Saturday in Ardsley

The Down syndrome education and therapy center will serve Westchester and Fairfield counties.

GiGi’s Playhouse Westchester will celebrate its Grand Opening from 1-3PM Saturday.

GiGi’s Playhouse is a non-profit Down syndrome awareness and educational center, and its Ardsley location will serve Westchester and Fairfield Counties.

“I am thrilled that our community was chosen as the location for this terrific program that helps those family members who deal with Down syndrome,” said Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.

The grand opening event will be fun for the whole family. Along with great information about this new Playhouse, there will be face painting, games, activities and food. There will also be access to explore the entire Playhouse.

GiGi’s Playhouse Westchester NY is a Down syndrome achievement center, which offers FREE educational and therapeutic programming to individuals of all ages with Down syndrome, their families, and the community.

GiGi’s Playhouse Westchester, at 718-720 Saw Mill River Road, Ardsley NY, will be the 24th location to open throughout the United States and Mexico, and 6 more locations are due to open by the end of 2015.

GiGi’s Playhouse offers over 30 different therapeutic and educational programs, at no charge, to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. For the past ten years, GiGi’s Playhouse has given individuals with Down syndrome, and their families ,the chance to grow their confidence and skills while advocating a global message of acceptance. GiGi’s Playhouse continues to strive for excellence and make a difference—one child, one diagnosis and one community at time.
