Greenburgh Annual Dog Swim Scheduled

Not to worry: The dogs will be allowed to swim after the pool has closed for the season.

GREENBURGH, NY — It's almost time for one of the most popular programs sponsored by the Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Department.

The annual dog swim will be held Sunday, Sept. 12 at AF Veteran Park.

There will be two sessions: 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Advance registration only has begun. Call 914-989-1811 or go online (click on tab for Parks and Recreation and scroll down for Dog Swim at Veteran Park).

The $10 fee goes to Friends of East Rumbrook Dog Park Association.

No people will be allowed in the pool. Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. No aggressive dogs will be allowed.

And don't worry — the event is held after the pool closes for the season.
