Greenburgh Homeowners Can Prepay Taxes Online

GREENBURGH, NY — Homeowners in the Town of Greenburgh now can pre-pay town and fire district taxes online. Supervisor Paul Feiner said that people who want to avoid standing in line to pre-pay taxes, in order to avoid the affects of the recently enacted federal tax reform bill can do so over the internet. There is, however, a credit card fee.

Property Tax Payments

As a convenience to our taxpayers, the Town of Greenburgh offers the option of paying town taxes online. Using this option is fast, easy and safe. In just a few minutes, the transaction will be complete with 5 simple steps.

You can pay via credit/debit card. There is a variable IntelligentRate™ for paying by credit/debit card. Using IntelligentRate™ provides a card rate based on the agreements made by your card issuer (debit cards tend to offer the most savings but each card has it's own terms and conditions). Credit/debit card payments can be made with Mastercard or Visa.

To make online payments for multiple parcels, each parcel must be paid individually.

The website shuts down every Thursday morning from 1:45 AM to 5:00 AM Eastern Time for routine maintenance.

STEP 1 Locate Tax Parcel Information

You can search for your tax information by using your parcel ID (Section, Block, Lot), legal street address or bill number (located on the tax bill you received in the mail).

STEP 2 Review Information and Accept Terms

At this step, you will be asked to review your tax information and accept the Terms of Use for this transaction.

STEP 3 Complete the Contact and Pay Details

You will be prompted to enter your contact and billing information to pay your bill, the amounts and any additional information will be displayed.

STEP 4 Confirm Information

Review the information you provided in Step 3 and submit the payment. This is your opportunity to go back and make any changes before submitting the payment.

STEP 5 Digital Receipt

Once your payment has been submitted, you will receive your confirmation number and digital receipt. A confirmation email with the same information will also be sent to the email address that you provide.
