Hastings High Students Host Thanksgiving Dinner, Dance for Those in Need
About 250 students helped prepare and serve the meal.
HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY — Students of Hastings High School threw a dinner and dance for people who might not have as much as they do.
About 250 students helped prepare the turkey meal with all the fixings, according to a report on News 12, and was attended by about 700.
Organizer Jeanne Newman, of Project Share, said she wanted to help others because her family was at one time homeless.
