Hastings-on-Hudson Couple Killed in VT Car Crash
A family friend was also killed in the accident with a semi.
A Hastings-on-Hudson couple, along with a family friend, were killed Tuesday in an accident with a semi-tractor-trailer in Vermont.
The Burlington Free Press said Ryszard Malarczyk, 51, and his wife Anita Malarczyk, 50, and a friend, Jaroslaw Karczewski, 51, were killed when the semi hit their Cadillac Escalade head-on on U.S. 4 in Killington.
There were three survivors, believed by investigators to be the couple’s children. The extent of their injuries was not known at the time of publication.

Tuesday saw the first significant snowfall for Vermont, and at the time of the accident 5 inches had fallen.
