Hastings-on-Hudson School District Pushes Petition Effort

The Hastings-on-Hudson School District emailed the following note to parents Thursday urging them to consider signing a statewide petition to convince state officials to increase education funding:

Dear Community Members:

New York State has been shortchanging all school districts for at least 5 years, forcing HOH schools to make hard budget choices and causing our taxes to rise! Had we received our full funding last year, HOH could have had a tax decrease!
