"The vehicle then continued out of the station with the pedestrian clinging to the hood and struck another vehicle that was northbound on Broadway."
The pedestrian, determined to be a 39-years-old Salah, works out of both Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley's Getty gas and service stations helping locals sell their used cars on the Internet. He is also very close friends with the owners of both businesses.

"He spends most of his time in the back on the computer," Abraham said. "He buys stuff, like jeans, and sells them on ebay. He's really good at it."
Abraham said he, his friends and family have been at the hospital with Salah since he was admitted at around 7 p.m. yesterday. "We stay in six-hour shifts. The doctors won't say 'yes' or 'no.' We just know he's in bad shape."
The Town of Greenburgh Police Department responded and conducted a detailed accident investigation. At this time human error and/or mechanical failure are being considered as the cause of the accident. According to police, no charges have been filed at this time.
The female driver and two occupants of a black Lincoln also involved in the accident were taken to local hospitals and released.
"Salah's brother is flying in from London. We'll pick him up and take him to the hospital tonight," Abraham Jamal said. "It's s sad; he's got nobody here."
Abraham said he believed Salah had two brothers in London and two children living in Jordan with his mother. He said he did not like to ask too many personal questions.
"We had to have the police open his apartment for us so we could find his family's numbers," Abraham said. "They took it really hard. He's got nobody here. The poor guy."
