Have Weekend Plans? Here's the Latest Weekend Weather Forecast for the Rivertowns

Well you certainly deserve this, after months of being cooped up inside all winter we’re finally looking at a gorgeous weather weekend, probably the best weekend forecast since October.

There will be plenty of sunshine, temperatures near 60, but the winds will be pretty gusty on Saturday possibly around 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

The warm up continues into next week as well, as the 60s hang on and it’s sunny for Monday and Tuesday before rain enters the picture on Wednesday.

And we’ve still got to get to the weekend as today will be cold and rainy with high temperatures in the low 40s, and it will be warmer on Friday with temps in the mid 50s, but you guessed it more rain is possible before ending late Friday night.

Here is the latest hyperlocal forecast from the NWS for Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson and Irvington:

Tonight: Rain likely, mainly after midnight. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 40. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Friday: A chance of rain, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Areas of fog before 3pm. High near 62. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 47. West wind 8 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 61. Breezy, with a west wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 64.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 41.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 64.
