If You Are a Parent of a Minor Child, There are Legal Documents That You Should Consider to Protect Your Family.

Local resident Joanne Spellane, Attorney at Law, will present a free program at the Irvington Public Library on Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. to educate parents of young children on the importance having a Will and Advance Directives in place, in case the unthinkable occurs, and your children are left without a living parent.

Joanne Spellane is a graduate of Trinity College in Washington, D.C. She received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, and has a Certificate in Aging from Brookdale Center for Aging at Hunter College. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Section of both the New York State and Westchester County Bar Associations. She has a sole practice, with offices in Tarrytown and New York City. Her practice also includes Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Elder Law and Medicaid planning.
