YONKERS, NY — A destructive joyride in Yonkers has had serious consequences for two Bronx men, according to police.

Earlier this month, a pair from the Bronx showed up to JFK Marina and did donuts on the grass in their luxury sports cars, police said. The reckless romp tore up the park's lawn, causing thousands of dollars in damage, according to officials.

Yonkers police said the suspects helped investigators in a big way, not only filming the vandalism, but posting it to social media as well.

"Our social media team found these videos, and it didn't take long for Detectives in our Crime Control Strategies Division to identify these drivers, arrest them, and impound their cars," YPD said in their own social media post, announcing an arrest, and the seizure of two prized cars. "We'll take your Beamer, Benz, Bentley, hoopty — whatever — if you come to Yonkers to do this nonsense."

Muhamed Alsaedi, 30, AKA "Moe,"and Abaas Alsaedi, 21, were both arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief.

The department thanked the Westchester County Police Department and the NYPD for helping with the investigation.

"Thinking about coming here to try the same thing? Take Moe's advice — don’t," YPD said, rubbing salt in the wounds. "We will find you. We will arrest you. We will impound your car. Then you can explain the cool new felony to your friends — from the passenger seat."
