Irvington Middle School Students Collect Toys for Children in Need
The annual toy drive is organized by the Spanish Club.

IRVINGTON, NY — Thanks to the generosity of Irvington Middle School students, who collected 561 toys, families in need will have gifts this holiday season.
The annual toy drive, organized and run by the Spanish Club, surpassed last year’s record by 100 gifts, according to a district spokesman.
Club advisor Allyson Tempest said students, staff members, teachers and administrators donated the gifts that were then wrapped during an after-school wrap-a-thon on Dec. 5. All of the toys were donated to the Open Door Family Medical Center in Sleepy Hollow.
