Irvington Resident Andrea Wolfert Named a Vice President at First Niagara Financial Group

Irvington resident Andrea Wolfert has been named Vice President, Treasury Management for First Niagara Financial Group’s Tri-State Region, the company announced. The region encompasses the Hudson Valley, Southwestern Connecticut and Northern New Jersey.

Wolfert’s new position calls for her to ”sell a variety of sophisticated commercial bank products and services and implement and oversee activities and functions related to treasury/cash management to corporations.” Her clients will be not-for-profit organizations and municipalities, as well as support the First Niagara’s overall commercial banking operations.

Prior to this position, Wolfert served in a similar capacity for First Niagara’s New England Region.

Ms. Wolfert joined First Niagara Bank in March 2014 with more than 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. She has also held senior treasury/cash management positions with Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Sterling National Bank and Bank of the West.

Wolfert received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education and urban studies form Queens College in Queens, N.Y. She is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals, United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council, and resides with her husband and two sons in Irvington, N.Y.
