Irvington School Board Elects Two Additional Trustees
The board's membership increased to seven from five.
IRVINGTON, NY — The Irvington Union Free School District held an election to add two board trustees to the Board of Education. The board now contains seven members. The recent election had four candidates: John Dawson, Brian Friedman, Maura Gedid and Della Lenz.
Friedman and Gedid received 607 and 613 votes, respectively, making them the winners.
Lenz received 391 votes; Dawson, 269.

Friedman and Gedid were sworn in at the annual BOE reorganization meeting July 12.
