Irvington Seeks Community Volunteers

The Village of Irvington is seeking volunteers to serve on boards, commissions or other groups, Mayor Brian Smith announced this week.

Currently, there are openings on the Environmental Conservation Board, Tree Commission and Zoning Board, among others.

“The Trustees and I feel strongly that one of the keys to preserving and improving our quality of life is to enhance our citizens’ role in its local government,” said Smith in a statement.
