In a 22-3 loss at home to Montclair State on the 14th, Dan Cohen (Ardsley '08) of Mt. St. Vincent had 1 goal on his only shot, 1 give back, and 2 turnovers in the game.

In a 10-4 loss at home to Misericordia on the 14th, Justin Figueroa (Ardsley '10) of Manhattanville had 1 turnover in the game.

On the 14th, Chris Murphy (Hastings '08) of Pace scored his team's first goal in the 7-5 loss at home to St. Michael's.

Tennis:

At Holy Cross on the 13th, the Hartford men's tennis team topped the Crusaders, 4-3, with Mike Kennelly (Irvington '10) winning his singles match, 6-0, 6-2, followed by a doubles victory, 8-3.

Alex Holdstein (Hastings '10) lost his singles match, 6-4, 6-2, and his doubles duo dropped their match ,8-6. On the 14th, At Boston U., they bowed to their hosts, 6-1, with Holdstein losing his singles match , 6-2, 6-1, and his doubles, 8-4, while Kennelly dropped his singles match, 7-5, 6-4, and his doubles match was also a loser, 8-3.

In a 9-0 loss on the 9th to guests Stephens Tech, Jeremy Mancus (Irvington '09) lost his singles match, 6-0, and 6-2, and then he and his doubles partner did likewise, 8-6.

Softball

Clark split a double header at M.I.T.  on the 14th, with Stefi Kettenacker (Hastings '08), 2nd sacker for the Cougars, going 1-4 and fanning twice in the 8-4 opening win, while in the 2-0 loss in game 2, she was 0-3 and fanned once in this game. On the 14th, Wellesley at home, she had 1 sacrifice in the opening game , an 8-0 win, while in the losing night cap, 8-3, she fanned once.

Winning their 9th and 10th games in succession, the Tufts Jumbos swept Colby on the 13th ,8-2 and 5-2. In the first contest Mira Lieman-Sifry (Hastings '08) had 1 hit, 1 put out, and 2 assists, while in the 2nd game on the 14th, a 4-3 win, she again had no errors, as her total so far on the season is 2. 

Mercy Women's Lax

The Mercy College women's lacrosse team rallied to score the final six goals of the contest to top Kutztown, 16-12, this afternoon (April 17). Several Mavericks' performances stood out, including junior Kelsey's Sullivan's impressive all-around line.

Softball Splits

Below is the release on today’s East Coast Conference doubleheader between Queens College and Mercy College. Mercy took the first game, but fell in the second. Four different Mavericks players hit homers this afternoon.
