CGR PRESENTATION TO TOWN BOARD ON EDGEMONT AND RESIDENT COMMENTS

Last week CGR presented its initial findings on some of the impacts of the Edgemont Incorporation Committee's (EIC) proposal to incorporate Edgemont. CGR was hired by Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins for $100,000. The Town Board meeting was overflowing with residents – some people who attended the meeting had to watch from another room at Town Hall---first time that has happened!

Many residents spoke at the meeting and expressed concern and anger that the report failed to include information that would provide residents with a complete understanding of the risks involved to Edgemont and the rest of unincorporated Greenburgh. CGR has until April 1 to make changes in their final report.
