link to Town Board discussion with Save Greenburgh coalition

Why did Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins get the Senate to approve law that treats Edgemont/unincorporated differently than every place else?

This is a link to a discussion the Town Board had with members of the community earlier this week and the Save Greenburgh Coalition. Senator Cousins persuaded the State Senate to approve a chapter amendment that treats Edgemont/unincorporated Greenburgh differently than every other community in NYS until 2040 --16 years from now. Residents and town officials are very upset. The chapter amendment will have devastating consequences on the town if approved by the State Assembly and signed into law by the Governor.
