Man With Criminal History Arrested In Greenburgh On Drug Charges

A traffic stop led to the New Rochelle resident's arrest.

GREENBURGH, NY — A felon who has spent more than three years in prison was arrested in Greenburgh after a traffic stop in which he was said to have heroin and cocaine in his possession. Greenburgh Police stopped Devon Ellis, 30, of New Rochelle, around 6:44 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22 in the parking lot of the Courtyard Marriott on White Plains Road.

Police said Ellis had 21 glassine envelopes of heroin and 35 plastic twists containing crack cocaine, the Journal News reported.

He was charged with two criminal drug possession felonies.
