What's on the Menu For Hudson Valley Restaurant Week?
Dinner selections range from osso bucco to burgers at Rivertowns eateries offering $28 three-course, prix-fixe dinners during the fifth annual Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, March 14-27.
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is here! Twelve eateries in Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and Irvington are signed up for 2011, the fifth year for the event.
Three-course, prix-fixe dinners are offered at $28 per person (plus beverage, tax and gratuity) at restaurants enrolled in the program. Entrees available are shown below. Many eateries also serve a three-course, prix-fixe lunch at $20 per person.
Some restaurants do not offer the prix-fixe menus on Saturday and Sunday and a number are closed on Mondays. At all restaurants, diners can opt to order from the regular menu instead of the prix-fixe menu. - Chicken, Tandoori. Natural skinless half chicken, tandoori masala.
- Chicken Tikka Masala. Braised in fenugreek scented tomato cream sauce.
- Goan shrimp. Tangy and piquant shrimp curry from coastal region of Goa.
- Lamb Vindallo. Spicy lamb curry,malt vinegar, whole spices and potatoes.

- Ravioli, goat cheese. Golden beets, preserved lemon, breadcrumbs
- Striped bass, wild. Celery root puree, roasted mushroom, butternut squash.

- Chicken, roasted, and creamy polenta. Fava beans, zucchini, creamy polenta, fresh thyme chicken jus.
- Orecchiette pasta. Broccoli, olives and shaved ricotta salata.
