Mount Vernon Man, 51, Charged in Irvington Train Station Assault
The incident was broken up by Irvington Fire Chief Chris DePaoli.
A 51-year-old Mount Vernon man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the Wednesday night stabbing at the Irvington train station that was broken up by Fire Chief Chris DePaoli.
Sidney Brown repeatedly stabbed Deborah Henry, the mother of his children, during an altercation at the train station, according to authorities. Henry, 36, remains hospitalized in critical condition, reports News 12 Westchester.

DePaoli, who was driving by the station with his daughters, intervened in the attack, and Brown was soon apprehended by police who had to taser Brown to get him under control.
Brown has been remanded to Westchester County Jail, according to The Journal News.
