New Torah Being Transcribed in Dobbs Ferry
Work on the scroll will continue in Israel.

DOBBS FERRY, NY - On Sunday, a Jewish congregation in Dobbs Ferry will witness the start of the transcribing of a new Torah scroll.
The work will be done at Chabad of the Rivertowns and is being paid for by Jean-Marc Orlando of Scarsdale, according to an article in the Journal News.
While the scroll will be started in Dobbs Ferry, it will continue in Israel by a second scribe.

The Journal News said the entire process will cost about $40,000.
