Ramps to Ashford Avenue Bridge Set to Close for Construction

Signage for detours will be posted in the area.

Closures involving the Ashford Avenue Bridge project will go into effect Monday, March 14.

A notice on the Westchester County Public Works website said beginning Monday, Exit 17, from the Northbound Saw Mill River Parkway to Ashford Avenue will be closed for long-term construction.

In addition, the entrance from Ashford Avenue to the Northbound Saw Mill River Parkway will be closed.

Detours, using Route 9A (Saw Mill River Road) and Lawrence Street, will be posted.

The county said there will be variable message signs installed alerting driver to the closures.

The Ashford Avenue Bridge was building in 1950 and connects the villages of Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry.
