Recently Hired Dishwasher Charged In Murder Of Co-Worker
The accused woman was taken into custody within minutes of the incident.

IRVINGTON, NY — A woman who was recently hired as a dishwasher at an Irvington restaurant was charged with second-degree murder, a felony, in the death of a co-worker. Irvington Police said Rosa E. Ramirez, 37, of Allen Street in Manhattan stabbed Bonifacio A. Rodriguez, 39, of Yonkers, multiple times with a knife.
Police said they were called to the River City Grille, 6 South Broadway, and found Rodriguez unresponsive and bleeding from multiple wounds.
He was stabilized and taken to the Westchester Medical Center where he died at 12:19 p.m.

Ramirez was taken into custody at the restaurant within minutes of the incident.

She was arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Department of Correction and is scheduled to return to the Village of Irvington Justice Court April 16.
