River City Grille in Irvington Offers Three-Course Lunches and Dinners During Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

Saturdays and Sunday Brunch are excluded from the HVRW program at River City Grille.

River City Grille in Irvington is participating in the spring staging of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW) with both prix-fixe lunch and prix-fixe dinner service. Some of the 231 restaurants signed up for the program offer dinner only.

Hudson Valley Restaurant Week runs March 7-20, 2016.

The regular menus with the regular prices charged for dishes are also available as an option for patrons.

The HVRW three-course menus (lunch at $20.95 and dinner at $29.95) at the 231 participating restaurants do not include tax, gratuity and in most cases, beverage cost.

Appetizers

  1. Roasted butternut squash soup. Toasted pumpkin seeds
  2. Fried Calamari. Tossed with chile aioli and jalapeños
  3. Hearts Of Romaine. Salt cured olives, pickled red onion, croutons, Caesar dressing.
  4. Mediterranean Salad. Mixed greens, chick peas, red onion, fennel, red peppers, lemon and olive oil
  5. Polenta Cake. Sautéed mushrooms, herb beurre blanc

Entrees

  1. Chicken In The Oven. Potatoes, peas and onions
  2. Mushroom Ravioli. Shallots, sherry wine, cream, pecorino, truffle oil
  3. Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs. Roasted sweet potatoes, haricot vert, natural sauce
  4. Soy Glazed Salmon, Black rice, shiitake mushrooms, red peppers, scallion, hoisin sauce
  5. Orecchiette. Chicken apple sausage, roasted cauliflower, golden raisins, toasted pine nuts, pecorino
  6. Jambalaya. Chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage, plum tomatoes, creole rice

Desserts

  1. Ice Cream
  2. Warm Bread Pudding, Bourbon caramel sauce
  3. Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana Pie. Creme Anglaise, whipped cream almond cake, fennel and honey ice cream

River City Grille is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. It also serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
