- Rowing for the Duke University V8+ in a race on March 9 with Clemson and Eastern Michigan, Victoria Tsamisof Dobbs Ferry and her shell finished in second place to the Tigers, with a time of 7.00.7, compared to Clemson's winning clocking of 6.51.6, and the third place time of Eastern Michigan at 8:11.8.
- In the NCAA Division Three women's basketball semi-final game at Hope College on March 15, the Amherst Lady Jeffs tangled with the Wisconsin-White Water, and came out on the short end of a 64-62 score. On March 16, in the consolation game with Williams, their third game with each other on the season, the Ephs won the game, 55-53, with Amherst's final record 30-3/9-1. On the season, Marley Giddins of Irvington played in twenty-one games off the bench, and missed many later in the season, due to a knee injury. Her final statistics included scoring fifty-four points, including 22 field goals and 10 foul successes, 78t rebounds, 10 assists, 13 turnovers, 10 blocks, and 4 steals in the campaign.
- In a tennis matchup at Hilton Head, N.C. on March 10, DavidAnderson of Hastings-on-Hudson and Ithaca College, competed and his team lost to Missouri Valley University, 7-2, wherein he lost his singles match 6-1,61, followed by a doubles loss, 8-3. Against the University of Philadelphia on March 13, the Bombers lost,6-3, with Anderson dropping his singles match, .With Rhodes College as the opposition on March 14, he dropped his singles match, 6-0,6-3,12-10, while his doubles twosome lost their contest, 8-3.
- In an 18-6 drubbing by Roanoke on March 12, midfielder JakeBernardof Irvington and Wooster College, scored a goal at 13:27 of the third period, unassisted. It was his one shot of the contest, and he also had one ground ball and one turnover in the game.
- Playing a tennis match at Luther College on March 16, Andy Cataniaof Dobbs Ferry and St. Olaf College,in a 7-2 loss, lost his singles match, 6-3,7-5, but he and his double partner were winners 8-3. The record in now 3-3/2-1.
- Madison Dinasoof Ardsley and Babson College made her debut in college softball on March 16, when in a game with Bethel College, she struck out as a pinch hitter in the top of the seventh inning, in a 5-4 win. The team topped Hope College in the first game at Clermont, Florida, 6-2.
- In an 8-5 loss to Curry College on March 13, Justin Figueroa of Ardsley and Manhattanville had one shot, two ground balls, and one caused turnover in the contest. At Montclair State University on March16, he had four shots in the loss, with the score 16-3.
- In her debut as a Vassar College track and field runner, Sarah Kingof Dobbs Ferry finished 63rd out of 92 runners in the women's 1,500 meter race at the Shamrock Invitational, held at Carolina Coast University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the weekend of March 13-16.
- At the NCAA Northeast Regional fencing meet at Boston College on March 11, Leah Mackof Irvington and Brandeis University finished in a tie for seventeenth place in epee competition. Adam Mandel of The Masters School and Brandeis finished 18th in saber fencing.
- Facing the Lynx of Rhodes College at Hilton Head, S.C. on March 11, Jeremy Mancus of Irvington and Nazareth College were swept 9-0 in their meeting. He lost his singles match, 6-1,6-0, while he and his doubles partner went down 8-2. On March 14, in a winning match with Shepherd College 5-4, he copped his singles match 6-4,1-6, 11-9, while his doubles duo also won 8-3. With Wooster College on March 15 in the 7-2 loss, Mancus dropped his singles match 6-1,1-6, while he and his doubles partner were victorious 8-6.
- Liam McHugh of Ardsley and The College of Mt. Saint Vincent had one turnover in the Dolphins 9-8 squeaker over Becker College at home on Mar.12th, while at Salve Regina on March 15 in the 11-5 loss, he had one ground ball, one caused turnover, and lost one face off in the game. With Rosemont as the guests on March 17 he had one shot, four ground balls, one turnover, and one caused turnover in the sixteen to four win, with the record now 3-3.
- With Framingham State University on March 13, Johnson and Wales University opened the game by scoring five runs in the bottom half of the first inning, with Alex Pezzutoof Hastings-on-Hudson singling in the first two tallies. With Worcester Poly on March 14, he scored one run, walked once, fanned once, had two runs batted in, and made four putouts and had two assists in the 12-9 win. In a twin bill at home with the Thomas Terriers on March 17, they swept the day, taking the opener, 6-2, and the second 7-6. Alex batted one for two in the opener and had a run batted in, while in the second contest, he had two hits, two runs batted in, walked once, stole a base, and was part of a double play. The team is now six and two, with a winning streak of five games.
- At Queens College for a twin bill on March 16, the Southern New Hampshire Penmen swept the day, as they outscored the Knights, 13-3 in the opener with Andy Pezzuto batting two for three, scoring two runs, and having a walk and a strike out in the game. He and brother Greg also were part of a double play in the game. Greg had one hit, scored a run, and walked and fanned once each in the game. In the night cap, a 4-0 victory, Andy had two hits and a run batted in , while Greg went one for three and had one free pass in the game. On March 17, in another double header at Queens, Andrew went hitless in the 5-1 win in the opener, while Greg scored one run and fanned twice. In the second game, Andrew was again without a hit, and struck out twice, while Greg batted two for two, including a bunt single, had two runs batted in, and was picked off at second, as they topped their opponents, 3-1. The record stands at fourteen and three thus far.
- In the first game of a twin bill at Baseball Heaven on Long Island on March 11, Gary Riefenhauser of Dobbs Ferry and Purchase College came on in relief, allowing two runs on two hits, but did not figure in the decision in the 9-3 loss to Eastern Connecticut University.
- In a 5-4 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas College on March 11 at Florida's Lantana, Eddie Ritchof Dobbs Ferry and American International College went hitless, had four putouts at shortstop and one assists, and had one sacrifice bunt in the game. With Caldwell College on March 12, he batted one for three, a triple which set the stage for the winning run in the 5-4 game, as the next batter's single scored him from third base. He also walked twice, and made two put outs and had one assist at his shortstop position. On March 14, in a 5-4 loss to Long Island University-Post, wherein the Yellow Jackets, after leading through the first six innings, four to two, surrendered two runs in the seventh frame and the winning tally in the ninth inning. In the game, Ritch scored two runs, walked twice, fanned once, and had one steal, while making six putouts at shortstop. Playing U-Mass Lowell on Mar. 15th in a morning game, they lost, 8-3, wherein he had no hits and five putouts, while opposing St. Michaels College in the afternoon contest, they shut out the Purple Knights, 6-0, as he had no hits in four at bats, fanned twice, and had 4 putouts.
- Rita Saadof Irvington and The College of New Rochelle softball team, in the season opening double header at Bay Path College on March 17, her Blue Angels suffered two shutouts on the day. She made two putouts as the third baseman in the opening 13-0 loss, but did not bat, as a designated hitter did so. They also dropped the nightcap, 14-0.
- In a baseball game with The University of Rochester on March 11, Mike Swerdloff of Ardsley and Brandeis won his first game of the season, as he pitched seven innings, during which time he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, walked two batters, and fanned 5 foes in the 5-3 win. Starting pitcher in a game on March 16, he pitched 6.2 innings, gave up six runs on eleven hits, walked one batter, fanned one other, made one wild pitch, and was charged with the 7-3 loss against the same University of Rochester Yellow Jackets. His record is one and one thus far, while the team is four and ten.
