
Voters in Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Hastings-on-Hudson will be going to the polls Tuesday, May 15 to vote on budgets for the 2018-19 school year. For the Dobbs Ferry school district, the proposed budget is $44.8 million, up 3.98 percent from the current year.
The projected tax levy increase is 0.97 percent. The district said that this is the seventh year in a row that the tax levy is under the state mandated property tax cap.
There will be a second proposition on the ballot which asks for approval for the district to establish a capital improvements reserve fund.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Dobbs Ferry High School gymnasium.
In the Hastings-on-Hudson district, voters will be deciding to approve a $50.5 million budget for 2018-19, which is up 4.26 increase from the current budget.

The tax levy increase is 5.54 percent.
A second proposition asks voters to approve a bond up to $5 million for improvements, repairs and renovation of district facilities.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 pm.
Irvington voters will be deciding whether to approve a $61.3 million budget, which is up 3.8 percent from the current budget.
The tax levy increase is 4.24 percent, which under the allowable state mandated tax cap.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Main Street School auditorium.
