School Delays, Closings In Hudson Valley March 8: UPDATE

The snow storm exited the Hudson Valley in the early morning hours. But conditions in many communities remain difficult. Some schools and organizations that already announced delays are now announcing closings.

As of 6:50 a.m. Thursday, here are the school closings and other schedule changes for Thursday, March 8. We’ll add to the list as the changes come in, including early dismissals.

• SUNY Sullivan: Open at 11 a.m. Culinary classes that typically are in progress will begin at that time.
• Ulster County Community College: Closed
• Vassar College: Administrative offices will open at 11 a.m.
• Westchester Community College: Opens at noon.
