YONKERS, NY — Police say they finally nabbed a repeat shoplifter who didn't quit while he was ahead.

Last week, 2nd Precinct officers responded to a call of a shoplifter who brazenly filled two garbage bags with over 60 items from CVS and walked out without paying.

Officers caught up with Michael Donkis not far from the CVS, apprehending him and recovering the two full garbage bags. Police say that he had appeared to have hit this same store several times in the past day, some of it caught on camera by a bystander who posted the video on NextDoor.
