Serious Injuries for Pair in 2-Car Greenburgh Crash
One car caught fire and the other careened down an embankment.
Two people suffered serious injuries Monday night when the car they riding in collided with another one on Knollwood Road in Greenburgh, according to authorities.
The two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they crashed, reports The Journal News. One car caught fire, and the one containing the two injured people careened down an embankment. The driver of the fire-consumed car escaped with only minor injuries.
Police and fire personnel pulled the two from the car down the embankment. The two were hospitalized; their current conditions were not known.
