'Serious' Injuries Suffered by Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Greenburgh
A section of East Hartsdale Road was closed Tuesday afternoon while the accident was being investigated.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on East Hartsdale Avenue in Greenburgh Tuesday afternoon and suffered serious injuries, according to Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney.
Details were not yet available, but the road was closed while the accident was being investigated.

Members of the Greenburgh Police Department Detective Division are investigating a serious physical injury auto accident (involving a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle) on East Hartsdale Avenue in the area of number 119 East Hartsdale Avenue.
East Hartsdale Avenue is closed in both directions from Columbia Avenue to Rockledge Road (Rite Aid). Detectives will have the road closed for several hours while they complete an accident investigation.
