Solarize Hastings-Dobbs Ferry Hosts Launch Event Oct. 15

Solarize Hastings-Dobbs Ferry will host a launch event tomorrow, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room at Dobbs Ferry Village Hall, organizers announced.

The program, supported by New York State and sponsored by the Villages of Hastings–on-Hudson and Dobbs Ferry, “makes solar easy and affordable for homeowners and small businesses” by offering:

• Discount pricing, with a tiered structure so the more people sign up, the more the price keeps dropping for everyone.
• Pre-selected, competitively chosen solar contractor to do the installations in our community at this discounted Solarize price.
• High quality solar equipment.
• Immediate reduction in monthly energy costs with no money out-of-pocket for qualified customers.

The launch event features a presentation from the installer, Sunrise Solar Solutions, about the pricing, the steps in evaluating a home and other information.
