Sonic Restaurant Considered for Former Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center
The former Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center is located on Route 119

The fast-food restaurant chain Sonic is considering building its first Westchester location in the former Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center on Route 119, according to Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
Representatives from the company recently met with the Greenburgh Town Board to discuss the proposal, which would require a zoning change and for the current building on the site to be torn down. The health center has since moved to a new location on Knollwood Road.
Feiner is seeking opinions from residents about the possibility of the restaurant moving into the spot. He has not said whether he or other board members support the proposal, but he sees some potential benefits, such as additional jobs for young residents.
