Spoken Interludes Continues Spring 2016 Book Reading Program in Dobbs Ferry on April 8, 2016

The Spoken Interludes book reading and dinner program continues on Friday, April 8, 2016, with buffet dinner available from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Three authors follow: reading excerpts from their books and answering questions from the audience. Book signing commences at 8:30 p.m. Books can be purchased at this event and signed by the authors.

The authors:

Elizabeth Strout. She is a Pulitzer Prize winner for "Olive Kitteridge, an Emmy-winning HBO movie. She will read from her #1 New York Times best selling novel “My Name is Lucy Barton."

Boris Fishman. He will read from his comic novel "Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo.”

Sharon Guskin. She will read from her debut book, “The Forgetting Time."

The authors will be introduced by Spoken Interludes founder DeLauné Michel, a resident of Irvington and the author of “Aftermath of Dreaming” and “The Safety of Secrets,” published by HarperCollins.

The cost is $30 per person, payable by cash only at the door (no checks or credit cards accepted). Reservations can be made by email at rsvp@spokeninterludes.com

Program

1. Buffet dinner. 6 to 7:30 p.m.
2. Authors’ readings and Q&A. 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
3. Book signing 8:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Cost
$30 at the door (includes buffet dinner)

The full price of the ticket goes to the catering company for the dinner. However, tickets must be purchased for in order to attend the readings.
