Square Peg Gallery Hosts Open House This Saturday, 10/26, in Hastings-on-Hudson

Photography by David Joseph and john manzi.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our gallery launch, and made it a most successful evening!

If you missed it, and want to see what the buzz is all about; or you did join us, and want to come back for another look - come to our Open House on Saturday, Oct 24th, from 2 to 5pm at 385 Warburton Avenue in Hastings-on-Hudson.

David Joseph began to photograph abandoned coffee cups on the streets of Manhattan several years ago, recording the “beautiful litter” left behind and forgotten by the city’s inhabitants. His resulting “Morning Joe” photography series challenges us to reconsider what we see everyday and question what is trash and what is beauty, or, perhaps, can something be both?

john manzi‘s deep connection with nature has drawn him to seek out the world that exists just beyond the boundaries of convention. The images in manzi’s “Worlds within Worlds” photography series evoke a visceral, emotional reaction, awakening our ability to perceive differently and challenging the eye to explore beyond familiar visual territory.

And don’t forget - viewing is also available by appointment through November 21. Call 212-414-0316 or visit squarepeggallery.com
