Street Closure in Hastings-on-Hudson Dec. 9-11

A portion of Warburton Avenue southbound will be closed for paving.

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY - The southbound side of Warburton Avenue over Cropsey Lane from Washington Avenue to Main Street in Hastings-on-Hudson will be closed on Wednesday, December 9, through Friday, December 11, according to county officials.

The closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting, for paving. The northbound direction of Warburton Avenue is currently closed, and will remain closed until Dec. 18.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes, according to officials. Variable message signs will be used to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.

Southbound Bee-Line buses will be detoured off of Warburton Ave. between Spring Street in Hastings-on-Hudson and Wells Avenue. in Yonkers. The southbound closure detour is posted using Main Street to Broadway (US 9) to Washington Avenue.

The northbound closure detour is posted using Washington Avenue and Broadway (US 9) with a temporary traffic signal installed at the Washington Avenue and Broadway intersection.

The work performed on this project included replacement of the concrete bridge deck, sidewalks, asphalt surface, repairs and painting of the steel superstructure, milling and paving of the roadway approaches.
