Taco Truck A Local Favorite
People come from across Westchester to enjoy authentic Latin fare.

Rich Lazzari and his daughter Karrissa drive all the way from Eastchester to enjoy authentic tacos by the side of 9A—at least it's closer than Mexico!
The Pink Panther taco truck has been in operation in just south of Jackson Avenue for 25 years, serving freshly-made meat and vegetarian tacos, rice and beans, salads and even hot dogs.
"The best are the pork tacos," Lazzari said, as he enjoyed his lunch with his daughter, reclining on the back of his car. "And the rice and beans are better than what you get in most restaurants."

Magdalana Poledo, originally from Chile, owns the Pink Panther truck and does all the cooking herself. The meat—pork, chicken, beef and steak—are all fresh, she said, as well as the vegetables like onions and peppers.
"I like the hot sauce," Lazzari said. "You can't top that. We drive all the way over for it."

Despite its Chilean roots, the food at Pink Panther is Mexican inspired. Poledo said she has been cooking all her life, but learned to prepare Mexican food here from friends.
And Poledo agrees with her loyal customer: the pork tacos are her favorites too.
Find the Pink Panther taco truck on Route 9A parked near the Hastings/Yonkers border from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
