IRVINGTON, NY — Records show that an Irvington Middle School teacher, who was injured by a special education student, had warned about the teen’s violent tendency to school officials for years. Clarice Martin had been telling and emailing her supervisors about the student since November 2014.
The teacher even emailed the school principal about the student one month before she was attacked by him March 16, the Journal News said.
The student involved in the attack lives in the Edgemont district.
For more details, including comments from Martin’s attorney and the extent of her injuries, read the Journal News here.
