Town Now Owns Frank's Nursery; What Should it Become?

Town Supervisor Paul Feiner wants to know your opinion.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner announced this week that the town now owns the abandoned Frank’s Nursery off of Dobbs Ferry Road in Ardsley.

"We foreclosed on the property because the owners did not pay their taxes," he wrote in an e-mail blast. "The order and judgment of foreclosure sale was signed by New York State Supreme Court Justice Lester Adler."

The property is just under seven acres and is easily accessible from the Sprain Parkway.

Feiner said that in the coming months officials would explore options for the property, which include: selling it, renting it out and keeping it for future town uses.

He said: "I believe that we should turn this property into a revenue generator for the town."
