Village Of Hastings-On-Hudson: Two Out Of Three Hastings-On-Hudson Waterfront Parcels Now Declared Clean By NYS DEC

The Former Anaconda Cable & Wire Company site (letter A on the map below) is still undergoing remediation.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) announced in late July that the Former Tappan Terminal – Eastern Portion (letter C on the below map) has been issued a Certificate of Completion for remediation of contamination (see HERE for the Certificate of Completion and HERE for a Fact Sheet with additional information).

The Former Tappan Terminal – Western Portion (letter B on the below map) was declared clean in November of 2016 (see HERE for the Certificate of Completion and HERE for a Fact Sheet with additional information).

The Former Anaconda Cable & Wire Company site (letter A on the map below) is still undergoing remediation.
