Walgreens May Supplant Brothers Market, Off Broadway in Dobbs Ferry

Walgreens will preset a building proposal to Dobbs Ferry's board of trustees on Tuesday, June 14.

Walgreens pharmacy will most likely replace Off Broadway Restaurant and G&L Delicatessen in Dobbs Ferry, Village Administrator Marcus Serrano said.

The building owner—who lives in Florida—has been working with Walgreens for years," Serrano said. "And it now appears that they're ready to act on their contract."

Representatives from the major drug store will make a presentation to Dobbs Ferry's village board on Tuesday, June 14, at which time trustees will probably send the proposal to the planning board for environmental review.

"The owner has signed agreements with the building's current tenants to leave when the construction begins," Serrano said.

If the plan is approved, the current building will be demolished and a new structure will be built in its place.
