Westchester Man Accused In Death Of 8-Week-Old Son

Authorities said there were injuries to the inside of the baby's head and brain.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — A Westchester man has been charged in the death of his infant son. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Kevin Holloway, 41, of Dobbs Ferry, was indicted by a grand jury and arraigned in Westchester County Court on the following charges:

  • Second-degree manslaughter, a felony
  • Two counts of reckless assault of a child, felonies
  • Endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor

Scarpino said that, on Jan. 22, Holloway caused severe injuries to his 8-week-old son in their Dobbs Ferry home.

Authorities said the injuries to the inside of the baby's head and brain were consistent with acute abusive head trauma and caused the baby's death.
