Woodlands Middle School Jazz Band Wins at Prestigious Music Festival
The students from the Greenburgh school performed at the High Note Music Festival in New Jersey.

After months of practice, the Woodlands Middle School Jazz Band were recognized for their talents at the High Note Music Festival.
The students traveled with their music teacher, Doug Denniston, to Six Flags in New Jersey on Friday, May 1 to participate in the festival. They received superior ratings for their performance.

At the festival, each group performed for approximately 20 minutes. Judges evaluated the students on the quality of their musical set. The Greenburgh Central School District is delighted with the jazz band’s hard work and accomplishments over the past year.
