Dobbs Ferry's Brendan Wortner, who excels in both cross country and track and field, will be doing just that next year at Division III SUNY Geneseo, joining his older brother and former Eagles teammate Patrick there according to Brian Heyman's story on LoHud.com.

Track & Field
At the Loyola/Johns Hopkins Invitational in Baltimore, Julian Saliani (Irvington '10) of J.H. finished 7th in the men's 800, with a time of 1:58.18. His team won the meet, with 118 points, in competition with 9 other schools.
Baseball
In a double header at Wartburg on the 14th, Kiyota Gomi (Ardsley '08) of Carleton was hitless and made 9 putouts at first in the 4-0 loss, while in the 5-2 win in the 2nd game, he scored 1 run and was 0-2 as the designated hitter.
Pace topped hosts A.I.C. on the 14th, 9-1 , as Chris Roemer (Ardsley '07) of the Setters went 0-1 as designated hitter in the opening game of two , and then, playing left field in the winning 11-4 night cap, he batted 2-5 , scored a run, had 1 r.bi. , walked once, and one error in the outfield.
In a split with Stonehill on the 14th, Greg Pezzuto (Hastings '10) of Southern New Hampshire went 1-3, with 1 walk and 1 strike out in the 8-6 opening win, while in the 6-5 loss in game two, he batted 3-4, scored 3 runs, had 2 r.b.i.'s, and had 1 sacrifice fly out.
In a double win at home with Fredonia on the 14th, Cortland's Andrew Pezzuto (Hastings '07) as designated hitter was 1-3 , scored a run, and fanned once, while in the 12-5 second game, he went 1-2 , scored twice, had 1 r.b.i. , and walked once.

On the 14th, Martha Prince (Ardsley '11) and the Skidmore crew teams lost to hosts Ithaca, with the Thoroughbred VB team, 3rd, in 7:37.3, the V4 shell 2nd, with a time of 8:55.82, and the V4B shell also 2nd, at 8:54.38.
