Events span churches, fire departments, colleges, and Highland Park, offering options for solemn reflection, community remembrance, and honoring first responders throughout the day.
   

2. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Rochester holds 9/11 blood drive to fight Islamophobia (whec.com) — A Rochester chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is holding its annual 9/11 blood drive on East Main Street, using donations to honor victims and counter Islamophobia. Leaders explain why they focus on saving lives, educating about Islam, and responding peacefully to online backlash, while encouraging locals to donate blood through the American Red Cross.
   

3.
