2 Men Attempt To Rob E-Bike, Punch Victim Several Times: Police
The incident happened during the overnight hours on Sunday in Oceanside.

OCEANSIDE, NY — Two people are sought for an attempted robbery early Sunday in Oceanside.
Police responded to a 911 call at 1 a.m. for a robbery near 65 Atlantic Avenue. An investigation revealed a 44-year-old man was walking his electric bike near the 7-Eleven when two unknown men exited a dark-colored Honda Pilot and approached the victim, authorities said.
They demanded the victim hand over his bike. When he refused, the men punched him repeatedly, police said.

The men fled on Atlantic Avenue without the bike, although the handlebars and the victim's cell phone were damaged.
The victim suffered a cut to his leg and abrasions to the knees and hands. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
