South Nassau is pleased to present its 23rd Annual “Communities for a Cure” 5K/Run Walk on the grounds of the hospital at One Healthy Way in Oceanside. Proceeds from this event will benefit South Nassau’s Breast/GYN Health and Gertrude & Louis Feil Cancer Center. The naming sponsor for this event is Lynbrook Restorative Therapy & Nursing; Other sponsors include Bethpage Federal Credit Union; Safe Health Educators; King Kullen and Complete Women’s Imaging.

There will be entertainment and free refreshments courtesy of The Pretzel Shop, Oceanside; 7-Eleven Merrick Road, Oceanside and Joe’s Crab Shack.

Day of Run/Walk Prices:
(No increase from last year!)

5K Run/Walk - $25.00 per person
Fun Run - $15 per child (ages 5-11)
There will be no Team Registration on the day of the race.

Every runner and walker will receive one FREE raffle ticket for post-race RAFFLE drawing. Additional tickets may be purchased the day of the event.

The 5K run/walk will be held rain or shine; if the event must be cancelled due to severe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the hospital’s control, I understand that no refunds will be issued and I will hold the hospital harmless for such circumstances.
