Police Release Sketch of Man Who Stabbed 3 Teens at Rockville Centre Park
The teens were playing basketball Tuesday evening when they were approached by a man with a knife, police say.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY - Police are searching for a man who stabbed three teens at a park in Rockville Centre Tuesday evening.
According to police, the teens, all 19 years old, were playing basketball at Morgan Days Park when they were approached by the man shortly before 6:30 p.m. As the man was walking up to one of the teens, he pulled a ski mask over his face and attempted to strike the teen in the face, police said.
A fight ensued and when the other teens came to assist, the man pulled out a black and silver colored knife and stabbed all three teens, police said. The teens were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The man fled on foot southbound toward a parking lot, police said. He was described as white, 20-25 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, 180 pounds, with a bald head and sleeve type tattoos on both arms.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
