4 Arrested For Kidnapping, Robbing Man In Baldwin: Police

The victim's cell phone and wallet were taken at knifepoint, authorities said.

BALDWIN, NY — Four people were arrested for a Monday night robbery in Baldwin.

The 24-year-old male victim was in front of a School Drive residence, when the four men, who they knew, forced him into their car and drove off, authorities said.

The victim's cell phone and wallet were forcibly taken at knifepoint.

He was allowed to exit the vehicle near the intersection of North Main Street and Randall Avenue in Freeport. The victim suffered minor injuries.

After an investigation, Freeport police located the four suspects at Guy Lombardo Avenue.

Brian Gonzalez Valdez, 25; Waldi Victoriano Perez,23; Alexis Collado, 39; all of Freeport, and Edily Durancanela, 26, of West Hempstead, face robbery and kidnapping charges.

They were due to be arraigned on Wednesday.
